Kitty League Baseball is my personal site for sharing my research and writing about this colorful defunct minor league. I’m Kevin McCann, and I have spent over 25 years gathering information for a series of books that will chronicle the players, teams, and fans that made it so fascinating. I was fortunate to meet and interview many players who shared their photos, scrapbooks, and memories of playing baseball in the 1930s, 40s, and ’50s.
I am a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) and chair emeritus of the Minor League Committee.
